Senior Operating Officer – Community, Social Services Integration Your Opportunity: Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) is seeking an experienced senior leader to establish and lead a new province-wide portfolio focused on community and social services integration, social work, and system partnerships. As the Senior Operating Officer (SOO), Community, Social Services Integration and Partnerships, you will strengthen connections across healthcare, community, and social service sectors to support coordinated access, timely care transitions, and improved system outcomes. Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) is seeking a person like this who combines clinical or social work experience with leadership ability for the role of Program Director for the Alternate Level of Care Centre of Expertise (ALC/COE). The Program Director, ALC/COE is a management role responsible for implementing best practices for transition services, addressing systemic patient transition issues, and resolving complex transition cases. In this role, you will deliver advanced practice support and contribute ALC and transition expertise that informs and operationalizes provincial quality standards that strengthen clinical decision making and improve patient flow, transition experience, and outcomes. Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) provides Albertans with the support they need through a comprehensive assisted living system that offers a full range of services, including medical and non-medical supports, continuing care homes, home care, community care, and social services.
