Job Title: Professor (Part-Time) – Introduction to Industry 4.0 Department: School of Trades and Technology – Advanced Manufacturing Location: Commerce Court Campus – North Bay, ON Contract Duration: September 8 – December 18, 2026 Application Deadline: Thursday, August 20, 2026 – 12:00 p.m. The following teaching needs are required: AMD150 – Introduction to Industry 4.0 Qualifications: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and/or Industrial Manufacturing Minimum two (2) years of experience in mechanical design, process control and assurance and product design Experience with emerging technologies, AI, machining learning data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), cyber-physical systems, cloud computing, and 5G within the industrial and manufacturing processes Ability to design hands-on, project-based learning modules tailored to various skill levels Understanding of machine learning, optimization, and data visualization for engineering problems Highly effective communication and organizational skills Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems (Brightspace or Moodle) and educational technologies is an asset Experience with curriculum development and assessment design in a post-secondary context is an asset Must be able to reliably commute to the Commerce Court Campus in North Bay, ON required Responsibilities: Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities Applications will be accepted by the Organizational Development and Talent Management Department through our Career Portal at https://www.canadorecollege.ca/about/careers until 12:00 p.m., on the closing date.
