Validate ARO subscription, quota, network, DNS, identity, licensing, and support prerequisites. Design cluster topology, machine pools, upgrades, operators, routes, registry, storage, and lifecycle. Lead ARO IaC, configuration-as-code, pipeline, and optional GitOps implementation. Implement Entra integration, OpenShift RBAC, SCCs, secrets, certificates, policy, and audit controls. Integrate networking, observability, log forwarding, backup, DR, and FinOps capabilities. Lead golden paths, project provisioning, and ARO onboarding patterns. Execute platform, security, performance, resilience, upgrade, and recovery validation. Produce ARO build books, runbooks, administration guides, and KT. Required Technical and Consulting Capabilities ARO/OpenShift architecture and administration OpenShift operators, SCC, routes, registry, storage and machine configuration Terraform, Azure DevOps/GitHub and GitOps Entra ID integration and platform security OpenShift Monitoring, Prometheus/Grafana and log forwarding Backup/recovery, upgrades and application onboarding Experience Profile 8+ years in cloud/Linux/platform engineering and 4+ years delivering production OpenShift or ARO platforms. Preferred Certifications Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration RHCE or Red Hat OpenShift Application Development CKA/CKS Azure and Terraform certifications are assets Required Behaviours Strong ownership, structured problem solving, and clear documentation. Ability to work collaboratively with Architecture, Cybersecurity, IAM, Network, Operations, Finance, and application teams. Comfort working in a fast-paced, fixed-timeline program with formal dependencies and acceptance evidence. Ability to communicate risks early, propose practical compensating controls, and avoid unsupported commitments. Commitment to knowledge transfer and transfer of administrative control to the client. Key Deliverables and Success Measures Assigned design, implementation, testing, documentation, and handover outputs are completed to agreed quality and schedule. Requirements are traceable to backlog, code/configuration, tests, evidence, and acceptance. Solutions comply with client approved architecture, security, technology, and information-management standards. Risks and dependencies are identified early and actively managed. Client teams can operate and maintain the delivered capabilities following transition. The hourly compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $75-$95 CAD. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
