Day-to-day activities include measuring and cutting siding materials, installing various types of siding (such as vinyl, wood, or fiber cement), and ensuring proper alignment, fastening, and weatherproofing. The role involves removing or preparing existing exterior surfaces, using hand and power tools safely, and following building codes and company standards. The Siding Installer will work as part of a crew, coordinate with supervisors, maintain a clean work area, and assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials. The position requires adherence to safety procedures, accurate completion of tasks, and consistent, reliable attendance. Qualifications Practical experience with siding installation or related exterior construction work, including measuring, cutting, and fastening materials. Ability to safely use hand and power tools, ladders, and scaffolding, with a strong focus on workplace safety practices. Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and building plans, and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a professional and respectful approach to colleagues and clients. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Brockville, ON.
