We are seeking a Temporary Full-Time Registered Dietitian to provide support across two long-term care facilities in the Lower Mainland. The schedule offers flexibility, with the successful candidate selecting their preferred days each week, provided that both facilities are covered during the week. Facilities & Locations * *Lynn Valley Care Centre* 1070 Lynn Valley Road, North Vancouver, BC V7J 1Z8 * *Cartier House* 1419 Cartier Avenue, Coquitlam *Job Type:* Temporary, Full-Time *Schedule:* 5 days per week ? approximately 3 days at one site and 2 days at the other, based on your preferred schedule *Hours:* 8:00 AM ? 4:00 PM, or similar hours *Period:* August 31, 2026 ? We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. *Position Overview:* As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents through nutrition assessment, planning, and education. You will work closely with our healthcare team to create individualized dietary plans that meet the unique needs of our residents. *Key Responsibilities:* * Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for residents. * Conduct Dysphagia assessment and management * Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized dietary care plans. * Collaborate with nursing and care staff to ensure nutritional needs are met. * Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families. * Monitor and evaluate resident progress and dietary compliance. * Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning. * Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements related to nutrition in long-term care. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field. * Registered Dietitian (RD) with the college of Health and Care Professionals in BC. * Restricted Activities A. * Experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or a similar setting is an asset. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Knowledge of food service management and dietary regulations is an advantage. *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary. * Supportive and collaborative work environment. * A chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
