About the Role The Manager, Execution and Planning is the critical coordination role that translates the Buyer’s strategy into complete, store-ready commercial and promotional plans. The role connects buying, operations, marketing, suppliers and system support to ensure plaza teams have clear standards, accurate information and all materials required for a successful launch. The Manager sets field priorities for Execution Associates and uses their findings to identify risks, coordinate follow-up and recommend improvements to the Buyer. Key Responsibilities Commercial Planning and Coordination Own the commercial and promotional implementation calendar. Build project plans with clear deadlines, dependencies and approval gates. Lead launch-readiness meetings and flag risks to leadership. Execution Guides and Merchandising Standards Create execution guides and AI-assisted planograms. Define placement, adjacencies, merchandising and replenishment standards. Maintain one source of truth for current programs and standards. Systems Pricing and Launch Materials Coordinate item setup in Panasonic, CrunchTime and other systems. Confirm pricing is loaded, validated and communicated. Coordinate creative development, printing and marketing distribution. Confirm product, signage and supporting materials arrive before launch. Field Coordination and Continuous Improvement Prioritize plaza visits for Execution Associates. Consolidate store feedback, pictures and compliance results. Identify whether an issue is local, operational, supplier-related or systemic. Recommend corrective actions to the Buyer. Maintain reporting on launch readiness, compliance and program performance. Qualifications and Experience Experience coordinating commercial, promotional or merchandising programs in a retail, food service or hospitality environment. Experience building project plans and coordinating deadlines, dependencies and approvals across multiple teams. Experience supporting multi-site operations, merchandising standards, planograms and launch execution. Familiarity with item setup, pricing and inventory systems; experience with Panasonic and CrunchTime is an asset. Skills and Competencies Strong planning, organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to turn strategy into practical execution instructions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause assessment and performance reporting. Ability to use digital tools and AI-assisted planning tools with careful review for accuracy and operational suitability. Collaborative approach and strong alignment with diversity, inclusion, respect and teamwork. Additional Requirements Ability to travel regularly to plaza locations across Ontario.
