Position Details Position Status: Temporary Part Time Term Ends February 28, 2027 Location: Glenmore Park, MSK BW Hours: 50.38 FTE: 0.65 Shift: Evenings Shift Times: 1500-2315 Union: AUPE Rate of Pay: $20.77 - $26.02 PCN: GMMSKNA20 Date Competition closes: October 08, 2026 The Opportunity Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Care and working in collaboration with the Team Lead under the clinical direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Health Care Aide (HCA) provides direct client care within a post-acute musculoskeletal rehabilitation program. The HCA supports clients in achieving rehabilitation goals through assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, restorative care, and safe discharge planning while monitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in client status and contributing to person-centred care. Responsible for other related duties as required. Program Summary: Musculoskeletal (MSK) Program – for adults following an acute phase of musculoskeletal injury or who have had a bone or joint surgical procedure and require care and rehabilitation before returning to the community. Qualifications & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required, plus graduation from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English is required. Must be physically capable of managing the frequent lifting, transferring and repositioning of clients. Active and current registration with CLHA required. Related experience in a health care facility is an asset. Program specific training/experience is an asset. \n \n

Requirements
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma and have graduated from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program. Active registration with the CLHA and the physical ability to perform lifting and transferring tasks are mandatory.
