Position Details Position Status: Casual Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Pharmacy BW Hours: 0.00 FTE: 0.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0845-1700 Union: Non Union GSS Rate of Pay: According to qualifications and experience PCN: N/A Date Competition closes: September 02, 2026 The Opportunity Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Program Director, Pharmacy Services, this support position is responsible for performing routine duties associated with preparing client-specific medications, such as the efficient use of pharmacy equipment and processing orders. This position also supports the administration of pharmacy services, including maintaining inventory control and other related duties as required. The duties of this position are carried out in an environment focused on customer service. Qualifications & Experience: - A Pharmacy Assistant certificate or diploma is preferred. - Basic Computer skills (MS Office and FileMaker) required. - Experience in a long term or acute care hospital pharmacy is preferred. - Experience in a community pharmacy may be considered. \n \n About Carewest: We select dedicated people just like you to care for our clients, those who offer compassion, knowledge and commitment to the treatment, progress, outcomes and lives of our clients.
