Job summary: Under the general direction of the Manager, Crew Scheduling the successful candidate will function as a Crew Scheduler in the Cargojet Control Centre (CCC). Job Duties & Responsibilities: * Perform Crew Scheduling duties in the Cargojet YHM CMC operations for rotating shifts. * Monitor operations to determine required adjustments to crewing needs and the effects on subsequent staffing requirements. * Arrange transport and hotel requirements during irregular operations. * Staff short-notice charters and other non-planned flights if required. * Responding to phone and email inquires in a prompt, efficient and professional manner. * Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements & Qualifications: * Customer Service experience required. * Previous flight operations experience an asset. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). * Working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations an asset. * Working knowledge of VMO or other scheduling software an asset. * Ability to work irregular hours and shift patterns. * Ability to work well under time and resource constraints within a team environment. * Ability to make crucial decisions under pressure with minimal supervision.
