Job Title: G1 Gas Technician/Gas Fitter A Work Location: 49 Blizzard St, Fredericton, NB E3B 8K3 Work Schedule: Full-time Permanent position You will be supplied a company vehicle, uniform, and tools. Responsibilities: Perform seasonal maintenance on a wide range of hot water and steam heating systems in commercial, industrial and institutional sectors Diagnose natural gas and propane system issues, troubleshoot, and resolve problems Test combustion equipment and associated control systems Dismantle defective systems and test components Replace faulty parts and reassemble repaired systems Test system operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and reliable performance Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and causes of malfunctions Perform combustion analysis and adjustments to meet manufacturer requirements Provide personalized follow-up with clients, either directly or through the office Requirements: G1 certification HVAC experience an asset Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial and institutional heating and combustion systems Valid driver’s license Strong communication skills with clients and suppliers Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams Health and Safety is a core paramount value of Carmichael Engineering.
