Job summary
Skills And Qualifications Experience working in a manufacturing organization. Experience working with manufacturing tools & equipment. Manufacturing experience preferred. Experience using manufacturing tools and equipment. Inspect incoming IGUs for defects and verify specifications. Report and quarantine defective IGUs. Safely operate a forklift and overhead vacuum lift (training provided if required). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S). Strong attention to detail and good eyesight. Ability to read and write English. Experience using measuring tools (tape measure and digital caliper). Basic computer and smartphone skills. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Willingness to learn IGU products and inspection standards. Reliable transportation required (no transit service available to Gloucester Estates). Safety footwear required. Annual company-paid safety footwear after 3 months; all other tools and training provided. Must have reliable transportation, as transit service is not available to the Gloucester Estates area. About The Job Based in our factory in Gloucester Estates, Langley, the Glass Inspection (AM SHIFT) is responsible for manufacturing Cascadia’s award-winning windows and doors. Experience in window production or other manufacturing is required, but our onboarding and training program can bring interested applicants up to speed quickly.
