The Kitchen Utility Attendant is an important part of ensuring success from the kitchen to the dining room. You are responsible for providing service to the food and beverage department in all aspects of dish washing, as well as overall back-of-house sanitation. Maintains back of house areas including storage rooms, kitchens, utilities, halls and bars. Removes food from dishes and place dirty dishes on conveyor belt. Steam clean and scrub tile surfaces, floors. Picks up and wheels garbage pails from back of house areas to compactors Loads and compacts cardboard, tin and garbage into compactors What You Bring Previous kitchen services experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment/chemicals is preferred, but not essential. Able to lift, push and pull heavy objects of up to 50 kg repeatedly during the course of a shift. Able to constantly stand, walk, bend, twist and be exposed to heat, chemicals, noise, steam, odors and slippery floors. Why Work for Us?
