Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play an essential role in supporting our kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Your contribution is vital to delivering a positive dining experience to our guests. Job Types: Part-time, 20-35 hours per week ‍ Locations: Taber, Alberta Responsibilities Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, and equipment. Sanitation: Follow proper food handling and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to meet the demands of service and contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen atmosphere. Flexibility: Adapt to changes in kitchen procedures and duties as directed by the kitchen manager. Food Preparation Assistance: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients. Inventory Management: Help in keeping track of food supplies and informing the kitchen staff of low stock. Meal Service Support: Assist in plating and garnishing dishes, ensuring they meet presentation standards. Requirements Education: No formal education required Experience: Culinary training or relevant experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented kitchen environment. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
