Title Software Developer – ETL Description To support Government of Ontario priorities under Bill 5, Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act 2025, the resource may be partially assigned to related projects. The contractor will work onsite 3 days per week (40 St. Clair West, Toronto) per OPS directive. Seeking a skilled ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter v10.2, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), PL/SQL, and data warehousing is required, with strong background in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and cloud migration. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC). Migrate Informatica PowerCentre v10.2 ETL code with embedded SQL/PLSQL (Oracle 11g/19c). Test migrated SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures. Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for scalability. Conduct root cause analysis and resolve ETL issues. Perform ETL from multiple sources into star/snowflake schemas. Translate technical specs into tested applications and pipelines. Collaborate with vendors/project team for testing/debugging. Document technical designs, deployment guides, and support materials. Participate in Agile/Scrum cycles. Ensure compliance with governance, security, and access policies. Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer. Perform database administration (configuration, backup/recovery, roles). Skills General Programming and analysis; structured methodologies for design, implementation, and maintenance. Application design, coding, debugging, documentation. Experience with relational/hierarchical databases, query languages, and protocols. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills. Team player with proven ability to meet deadlines. ETL Requirement gathering and business process knowledge. Maintaining/improving existing ETL processes. Ensuring scalable, maintainable data architecture. Delivering high-quality data solutions. Investigating pipeline issues and proposing solutions. Preparing detailed documentation. Flexible, detail-oriented, organized team player. Must Have: ETL development with Informatica Cloud (IDMC). Migration of PowerCentre v10.2 ETL code (Oracle 11g/19c).
