What you’ll do

Program and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce metal moulds, core boxes, and precision-shaped models. Interpret blueprints, inspect machined parts against specifications, assemble patterns, and instruct apprentices.

Requirements

Requires a trade certificate or diploma and at least five years of experience, including metal mould-making experience with injection or transfer moulds. Mould Maker Trade Certification is required, and the role involves on-site work in a noisy, dusty, fast-paced environment.
