Il/elle offrira des évaluations psycho-sociales, évaluera les besoins afin de mettre en place avec le/la client(e) un plan d’intervention basé sur des approches cliniques et offrira des interventions individuelles et de groupe. Responsabilités : Fournir des services d’évaluation et d’intervention individuelle et/ou de groupe auprès de la clientèle adulte Élaborer avec le/la client(e) un plan d’intervention en fonction de ses besoins Participer aux discussions de cas et à la planification des services en collaboration avec les partenaires internes et externes Participer à la conception et à la mise en œuvre de nouveaux programmes pour répondre aux besoins des clients de la communauté : évaluation des besoins, promotion et recrutement des clients Développer et animer des groupes et des ateliers de sensibilisation, de prévention et d’intervention pour les adultes et les ainés ainsi que de recruter les participants Organiser des activités visant la sensibilisation aux problématiques de la santé mentale chez les adultes et les aînés Participer, au besoin, aux initiatives et aux comités internes et communautaires visant à améliorer la qualité de vie des clients ayant des problèmes de santé mentale Participer à l'élaboration et à l'application de modèles d'intervention qui assurent des services de qualité (approches cliniques reconnues) Assurer la liaison avec les organismes communautaires et à l’interne afin d'améliorer l'accès aux services appropriés en temps opportun Promouvoir l’épanouissement global de la santé mentale pour la communauté francophone Collaborer avec la responsable des bénévoles lorsque requis Préparer des rapports, assurer la tenue des dossiers, et tenir des statistiques sur les programmes Participer aux réunions d’équipe, aux réunions du personnel et à toute autre réunion pertinente Participer au programme de supervision clinique (individuel et/ou groupe) Réaliser tout autre tâche jugée pertinente par son superviseur Aptitudes et exigences spécifiques : Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en travail social, en counseling ou autre diplôme universitaire pertinent pour la pratique du counseling et de la psychothérapie obtenu dans une institution reconnue Être membre en règle avec un ordre professionnel (OTSTTSO ou OPAO) ou en processus de le devenir Minimum de trois ans d’expérience pertinente Expérience et pratique en counseling et/ou en psychothérapie Compréhension approfondie des problématiques de santé mentale Connaissance approfondie des techniques d'évaluation psychosociale et de counseling Connaissance des ressources disponibles dans la communauté dans le domaine de santé mentale Engagement à travailler en collaboration avec les clients et les membres de l'équipe multidisciplinaire Aptitude à traiter les crises avec efficacité Ouverture face aux mœurs et habitudes d’autres cultures Excellent sens d’organisation et bonne capacité à gérer les relations interpersonnelles Connaissance et habileté à utiliser les logiciels informatiques de base Excellente connaissance orale et écrite du français et de l’anglais Être disposé(e) à travailler selon un horaire variable pour répondre aux besoins de la clientèle Posséder un permis de conduire valide et avoir accès à un véhicule automobile. S/he will offer psychosocial evaluations, assess needs in order to establish an intervention plan with the client based on clinical approaches, and offer individual and group interventions. Responsibilities: Provide individual and/or group assessment and intervention services to adult clients Develop with the client an intervention plan according to his/her needs Participate in case discussions and service planning with internal and external partners Participate in the design and implementation of new programs to meet the clients ‘needs in the community: needs assessment, promotion and client recruitment Develop and facilitate awareness, prevention and intervention groups and workshops for adults and seniors, as well as recruit participants Organize activities aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues among adults and seniors Participate, as appropriate, in internal and community initiatives and committees aimed at improving the quality of life of clients with mental health issues Participate in the development and application of intervention models that ensure quality services (recognized clinical approaches) Liaise with community agencies to improve access to appropriate services in a timely manner Promote the overall development of mental health for the Francophone community Collaborate with the Volunteer Program Coordinator when required Prepare reports, maintain records and program statistics Participate in team meetings, staff meetings and other relevant meetings Participate in the clinical supervision program (individual and/or group) Performs any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Education, Experience and Specific Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, counselling or other university degree relevant to the practice of counselling and psychotherapy from a recognized institution Member in good standing of a Professional College (OCSWSSW or CRPO) or in process of registration A minimum of three years of relevant experience Experience and practice in counselling and/or psychotherapy In-depth understanding of mental health issues In-depth knowledge of psychosocial assessment and counseling techniques Ability to handle crises effectively Knowledgeable on the mental health community resources available Commitment to working co-operatively with clients and members of the interdisciplinary team Openness to the customs and habits of other cultures Excellent organization and interpersonal skills Knowledge and ability to use basic computer software Excellent knowledge of oral and written French and English Be willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of clients Have access to a motor vehicle and hold a valid Ontario driver's license Please send us your cover letter and resume written in French or English. Requirements
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, counselling, or a related field is required, along with membership in good standing with the relevant Ontario professional college or registration in progress. Applicants need at least three years of relevant counselling or psychotherapy experience, strong mental health assessment and crisis-response skills, fluency in written and spoken French and English, a valid Ontario driver’s licence, and access to a vehicle.
