Summary: Our Truck Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) from Certarus Hubs in the Location area to customer’s locations. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager. Certarus provides new, well maintained tractor trailers, an opportunity to be home each night, and an employee-focused culture. Schedule: * 5 on 2 off then 5 on 3 off rotation that is subject to change based on business needs * Must be willing to do a night rotation * This position will require regional travel * Ready to support 24-hour operations with night shift driving on occasion Perks: * $5,000 sign on bonus * 7% RRSP matching program * Benefits, guaranteed hours, paid time off, wellness days Duties and Responsibilities * Safe transport of Compressed Natural Gas from hub compression stations to customer sites * Safe operation of tractor and trailer to/from off road customer locations * Removal and transportation of empty CNG trailers from customer sites to Hub locations * Hook-up and decoupling of hoses to/from compression stations and pressure reduction systems * Pre/Post trip checks of operating vehicles * Other duties as assigned Requirements: * Valid Class 1 driver’s license with minimum two (2) years’ verifiable trucking experience * Two (2) years’ experience transporting TDG is an asset * Preference will be given to drivers with prior oilfield hauling experience * Must be safety minded, a self-starter, and a team player * Must be open to slip seating * Clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions * Candidates must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check, Fit-for-Duty, and D&A screen to be considered for employment Certarus embraces diversity and equal opportunity in the way it impacts our continuous business success. Requirements
Requires a valid Class 1 driver's license with at least two years of verifiable trucking experience and a clean driver's abstract. Candidates must pass a criminal background check, Fit-for-Duty, and drug and alcohol screening.
