Position Overview: Target Land Surveying has an opening for a Survey Assistant based in the Langley/Surrey area. You will have the chance to work on different types of projects and grow your career through participation in our training and development programs. General Responsibilities: Setup and operate survey equipment including GPS, total stations, locators, and more. Performs legal and construction surveys under the direction of the party chief. Communicates effectively with client representatives and colleagues. Assists the Survey Party Chief with field notes, measurements, and other documentation as required. Operates survey equipment, tools & vehicles in a safe manner and performs duties as identified in the company’s HSE program. Qualifications: ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - Related experience preferred but not essential. Geomatics diploma or degree an asset Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract Valid safety certificates are an asset (First Aid/CPR, CSTS). Candidate must pass a Fit for Duty test. Wage Range: $21.00-25.00 per hour based on experience and education.

Requirements
