Job summary
Repair & Maintenance Manager Location: Position based in Vancouver, for our Oakridge Boutique Reports to: Design Manager Contract: Full-time and fixed-term contract of 6 months Your role @Chanel: As an open-minded, people oriented, exceptionally collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership, flexibility, and urgency, you will ensure repair & maintenance requirements are collected, communicated and taken care of. You will also negotiate processes, develop and maintain good relationships with vendors. What impact you can create at Chanel: You will support the store planning team for CHANEL Canada in Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty as well as Watches & Fine Jewellery; You will collect repair and maintenance requirements through in person field inspections and end user reporting; You will clearly communicate site specific needs and schedule work with general contractors, skilled trades, artists and trusted vendors; You will maintain good working relationships with trusted vendors and groom new vendors; You will negotiate processes with the vendors and perform competitive bidding to ensure best prices are obtained from the vendors; You will develop and execute a preventative maintenance program that focuses on environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility; You will conduct life cycle analysis on common elements to accurately project, procure and schedule repair and maintenance work.
