At Howden Canada inc., Concord (Ontario) site, we offer a wide range of mine air heating solutions available to condition air for safe and productive underground mining operations. We are looking for Welder Fitter to join our team. Work schedule: Day shift 6am - 2:30 pmWhat Will You Do? Welder Fitters are skilled trade workers who place and weld materials together from blueprints or drawings, ensuring that every product meets strict quality control standards. The candidate must be able to clearly interpret and understand blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols and fabricate accordingly. Tasks: Weld and Fit products according to specified blueprints and procedures Build products from blueprints and ensure internal quality measures are applied Conduct initial inspections of product to ensure adherence to safety and quality Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area in a professional and safe manner Adhere to all Health and Safety, and Environmental requirements. Other duties as assigned Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… on site, shop environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, and technical manuals Able to use overhead crane Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with strong attention to detail Excellent English communication skills Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and time-management skills Strong team player Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Ability to lift 50 lbs. Your Experience Should Be... 3-5 years of welding and/or fitting experience Experience with various steel alloys or Fitting of thin gauge stainless steel Our Benefits Package... Requirements

Requires 3–5 years of welding and/or fitting experience, with experience in steel alloys or thin-gauge stainless steel fitting. Candidates must interpret blueprints and technical specifications, operate an overhead crane, communicate effectively in English, work independently and as part of a team, and lift up to 50 pounds.
