Since 1991, Chervin has been designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry in homes across the Waterloo Region. Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and Muskoka region. Chervin has also built and acquired 4 sister companies which have given us the opportunity to be a key player in the markets for luxury hotel furniture, residential furniture, custom upholstered furniture, and home décor. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Apply finishes such as paints, stains, glazes, and lacquer onto wood, MDF, and particleboard pieces (elements of custom cabinetry) * Run spray finishing equipment * Sand finished products between coats to ensure a consistent surface and a superior final product * Apply high-quality distressing and wear-through, where requested * Shade products to match sample panels provided * Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products * Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently * Follow Chervin's core values and project them to your team. WHAT YOU’LL BRING * 2+ years of Finishing experience * Ability to read and discern blueprints * Ability to lift 50-75lbs * Knowledge of finishing equipment and quality processes * Strong English verbal and written skills * Knowledge of woodworking is an asset

Requirements
Candidates must have over 2 years of finishing experience and the ability to read blueprints and lift 50-75lbs. Strong English communication skills and knowledge of woodworking are also required or preferred.
