Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full-time temporary teaching position serving our Sundre school communities (Sundre High & River Valley), effective immediately to June 30, 2027. Core Qualifications & Background Demonstrated expertise in foundational literacy and numeracy intervention frameworks. Deep understanding of executive functioning, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and emotional regulation strategies tailored for adolescent learners. Proven track record of supporting diverse learning profiles and neurodivergent students across grades 7–12. Key Responsibilities Deliver targeted, small-group interventions to address specific learning gaps in middle and high school settings. Conduct initial screenings to identify lagging skills, establish baseline data, and continuously monitor student progress and growth. Design and implement Multi-Tiered Systems of Support offering specialized, individual-focused programming. Utilize screening tools and targeted assessments to establish baseline data, systematically track student progress, and document measurable skill growth. Monitor multi-tiered intervention outcomes using structured data-tracking systems to evaluate strategy effectiveness and inform instructional adjustments. Maintain detailed progress records to measure growth in foundational skills, support individualized goal-setting, and report outcomes to key stakeholders.
