Chinook School Division is seeking five positions as Educational Assistants to support students in the Functional Integrated program at Swift Current Comprehensive High School. This position will be subject to additional contracted hours due to the nature of the positions and based on individual needs of students. Training will be provided for any specific duties that are required. Start Date: As soon as possible Qualifications Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset Ability and experience in working with children Physical ability to work with active students Lifting may be required Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment A positive and flexible attitude to change Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan Benefits Defined Benefit Pension Plan Employee benefit package Positive work environment Pay range: $20.27 to $27.10 Applications submitted prior to 12:00 p.m. on August 23, 2026 will be given first consideration, however the job posting will stay open until suitable candidates for each open position have been found.
