KEY OBJECTIVE: The Lower Middle Market (“LMM”) New Business Underwriter is a field-underwriting role fully dedicated to new revenue generation for multiline accounts. The individual is accountable for reviewing, triaging, underwriting, and quoting submissions and securing binds to achieve the individual production goal while adhering to Chubb standards of underwriting and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong underwriting skills, exceptional communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to build and maintain impactful relationships. In this role, you will effectively manage broker relationships and collaborate with internal partners in Field Underwriting, Distribution, and Operations to ensure seamless processes and superior service delivery. The preferred candidate has experience in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty underwriting and has demonstrated the ability to drive profitable new business revenue while adhering to audit and compliance requirements. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Multiline underwriting including Package, Umbrella, Auto, and ancillary lines while ensuring adherence to our established underwriting strategy and authority, as well as following a referral process to maintain compliance and audit standards. • Cross-sell additional lines of business to maximize revenue per account, including P&C, Financial Lines, Cyber, Accident & Health, and other relevant products. • Work closely with local Business Development Managers to identify opportunities for growth and production enhancement within assigned brokerages. • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with assigned brokers to drive profitable growth. • Disciplined desk management, including production planning and forecasting for assigned book of business. ********************************************************************** OBJECTIFS PRINCIPAUX : Le rôle de souscripteur de nouvelles affaires du marché des petites et moyennes entreprises est un poste de souscription sur le terrain entièrement dédié à la génération de nouveaux revenus pour les comptes multibranches. Le candidat idéal possédera de solides compétences en souscription, des aptitudes exceptionnelles en communication, de solides compétences organisationnelles et la capacité de bâtir et d’entretenir des relations marquantes. RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES : • Souscription multibranches, y compris les branches d’assurance multirisques, Umbrella, automobile et auxiliaire, tout en assurant le respect de notre stratégie et de notre pouvoir de souscription établis, ainsi qu’en suivant un processus de recommandation pour maintenir la conformité et les normes d’audit. • Vente croisée de branches supplémentaires pour maximiser les revenus par compte, y compris l’assurance de dommages, l’assurance des risques financiers, l’assurance contre les cyberrisques, l’assurance accidents et maladie et d’autres produits pertinents. • Étroite collaboration avec les directeurs du développement des affaires locaux afin de cerner les occasions de croissance et d’amélioration de la production au sein des maisons de courtage attitrées. • Établissement et maintien de relations de travail solides avec les courtiers attitrés afin de stimuler une croissance rentable. • Gestion rigoureuse des activités, y compris la planification de la production et les prévisions pour le portefeuille d’affaires attribué.

Requirements
