We are currently looking for a Licensed Senior Architect to join our Buildings Group (C2 Architecture Inc) in the Mississauga office, operating within a hybrid model, and supporting the satellite offices in the East GTA. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career while working collaboratively within a dynamic team. You will have the chance to lead and manage a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, including transit, commercial, education, healthcare, and federal markets. Primary Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the project team in preparing conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents across various projects Oversee and integrate multi-disciplinary inputs into the design process, working with specialists in areas such as traffic engineering, transportation safety, storm water management, geotechnical engineering, and environmental/ecology Assume the role of Project Manager, controlling and managing resources, budgets, and schedules for multiple projects Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for clients, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Assist in managing and guiding the architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment Prepare presentation materials and renderings for client meetings, public consultations, and design review processes Coordinate with regulatory agencies and prepare materials for permit application packages to secure necessary approvals Provide contract administration and/or construction inspection services as required Support continuous professional development by participating in internal and external learning opportunities Represent the architectural team at project meetings, sharing insights and leadership across all stages of design and implementation Contribute to the creation of written materials, including proposals, design briefs, meeting reports, and other documentation associated with the architectural design process Lead design development and review processes, ensuring quality and alignment with client goals and project standards Mentor junior staff, fostering growth and development within the team Conduct QA/QC of drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards Qualifications Licensed Architect, OAA registration required Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in architecture, with a proven track record of leading successful projects / Stamping projects. Proven ability to oversee QA/QC of design deliverables and ensure project standards are met Strong Contract Administration experience overseeing the contracts between parties in a construction project Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on quality and client satisfaction Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle Excellent written and verbal communication skills LEED or Passive House accreditation is an asset Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
