About this Role We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our progressive, state-of-the-art practice. This permanent, full-time opportunity is distributed across our modern Edmonton locations. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented professional who brings a caring and compassionate approach to patient care. The successful candidate will excel at building meaningful connections with patients, parents, and team members alike. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to professional excellence are essential for success in this role Responsibilities & Duties Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Welcome and greet patients and parents/guardians upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional first impression Schedule and book patient appointments, managing the schedule efficiently Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming recpetion area Manage insurance administration including direct billing and liaising with insurance companies Collect payments and close a balanced day Additional duties may be assigned as required Skills & Experience We are looking for a professional who demonstrates the following clinical and interpersonal skills: Proficient in English, both written and verbal Computer proficient; able to learn new software quickly. Ortho2Edge and Curve Hero are used at our clinic Experience in an Dental clinic is an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with children of all ages Available to work during applicable business hours Willing to travel between different clinic locations across Edmonton Benefits Uniforms provided by the employer Comprehensive group benefits program Travel incentive for multi-location work Vacation pay
