Job Summary Civeo is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Drafter to support the design, development, and execution of modular construction and infrastructure projects. Reporting to the appropriate manager, the Drafter will be responsible for preparing and maintaining technical drawings, coordinating design documentation, supporting engineering reviews, and ensuring drawings comply with applicable specifications, regulations, and building codes. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain production, sales, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software. Develop detailed drawings and models for modular buildings, millwork, steel components, construction details, foundations, stairs, skids, and wheeled frames. Coordinate and prepare drawing packages for third-party engineering review and permitting requirements. Review drawings against project specifications, applicable regulations, and building codes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Interpret sketches and technical details and translate them into clear construction and fabrication drawings. Create and update Revit models and product renderings for client presentations and project visualization. Utilize photo editing software to develop professional client-facing documentation and presentation materials. Maintain and update drawing databases, product libraries, CAD symbol blocks, and construction detail references. Organize, archive, and manage completed project files and as-built documentation within Autodesk Docs and other document management systems. Assist with project estimates, bid packages, and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) by providing accurate drawing support. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, operations teams, and external consultants to support project execution. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality, safety, and document control procedures. Qualifications Diploma in Architectural Technology, Drafting Technology, Engineering Design, or a related two-year post-secondary program. Minimum 1-2 years of drafting or design experience in construction, manufacturing, modular construction, or a related industry. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other 2D/3D drafting software. Experience using photo-editing software such as Photoshop or GIMP. Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements. Strong knowledge of drafting standards, construction practices, and applicable building codes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Microsoft Project experience is considered an asset. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external engineering partners. Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
