Location: Toronto, ON Site: Seneca Polytechnic Pay Rate: CA$23.00–CA$24.50/hour Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Rotating Continental Shifts Shift Hours: 6:30 AM–6:30 PM / 6:30 PM–6:30 AM Work Location: On-Site Overview Paladin Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Team Lead to support security operations at Seneca Polytechnic. In this role, you will supervise frontline Security Guards, coordinate daily security operations, respond to incidents, and help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students, staff, and visitors. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced security professional looking to continue developing their leadership skills while working in a collaborative campus environment. What You'll Do Supervise and coordinate Security Guards across academic buildings, student residences, and campus event spaces. Assign patrols, monitor access control, and coordinate responses to on-campus incidents. Lead incident investigations and ensure reports are completed accurately and submitted on time. Provide frontline support and coordination during campus events, guest speaker visits, and high-profile activities. Mentor on-shift staff and provide practical, on-the-job training. Foster a welcoming and supportive team culture. Build collaborative relationships with campus departments and external stakeholders. Maintain high standards of safety and policy compliance across the Newnham, York, and King campuses. Continue developing your leadership and security expertise through professional development and mentorship. Must-Have Requirements: Valid Ontario Security Guard License. First Aid and CPR – Level C Certification. Valid G or G2 Ontario Driver's License. Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check. Legal authorization to work in Canada. Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanor. Must not currently be a Seneca student at the Newnham, King, or York campuses. Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications. If you do not currently have these certifications, Paladin will cover the full cost of training prior to onboarding in exchange for a 6-month commitment to the position. Nice-to-Have Skills: Previous security experience in a post-secondary educational institution or healthcare setting. Bilingual or multilingual communication skills. Why Join Paladin Security? Requirements
