Clean Harbors in Sparwood, BC is looking for Professional Class 1 Semi Vac Drivers to join our safety conscious team! Our experienced EO/Drivers may also operate wet vac trucks, trailers, tankers, combo units, hydro vacs, and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES * Operating and driving a Semi Vac and other equipment to and from work sites; * Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods; * Performing pre and post trip inspections; * Communicating clearly with dispatchers; * Doing roadside repairs as needed; * Maintaining and cleaning company equipment. QUALIFICATIONS * Currently hold a Class 1 license. * Experience driving manual transmission. * Prior Semi-vac experience required. * Ability to operate Combo units, Hydrovac, Wet vac, Trailers, Tankers is an asset. * Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair. * Ability to work a nightshift and travel of out town if needed. * Willingness to complete a drug test, and physical.
