Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Labourers to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for operating the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as directed by the client. This is a 362 Teamsters Union Position, field rate starting at $31.69/hour Why work for Clean Harbors? * Health and Safety is our #1 priority and We Live It 3-6-5! * 21/14 rotation; days and nights; * Camp provided and radial travel allowance reimbursement available; * Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment; * Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career; * Positive and safe work environments; RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; * Attends daily safety meeting and ensures all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner; * Assist with swamping and staging of units; * Perform basic labour tasks using hand tools, but also operate power equipment (non-driver) * Performs pre and post trip inspections alongside operator; * Other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS * Full Class 5 Driver’s License required. * Experience working in the oilsands an asset * High pressure experience would be an asset * Comfortable working in confined spaces * Able to work both day and night shift * Valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day). Training can be arranged. * Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment. * Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended period. 40-years of sustainability in action.
