Technical Lead / Architect – AI-Driven Development & Power Platform Location: Calgary, AB – 100% Onsite Job Type: Contract Industry: Energy & Infrastructure Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead / Architect with strong full-stack, AI/LLM, cloud, and solution architecture experience to build and deploy AI-powered web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience across React/Next.js, Amazon Bedrock, AWS, Power Platform, API development, and Solution Architecture. 🔴 MANDATORY SKILLS AI / LLM Application Development Amazon Bedrock – LLM Agents, Agent Orchestration & Tool/Function Calling React & Next.js TypeScript / JavaScript Solution Architecture / Technical Architecture Power Platform AWS Cloud API Design & Integration CloudFormation / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) CI/CD – GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline or similar 100% Onsite availability in Calgary, AB Key Responsibilities Build production-grade full-stack web applications using React and Next.js. Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered agents on Amazon Bedrock. Implement tool/function calling and multi-step AI agent orchestration. Integrate AI applications with backend data and services through APIs. Develop user-facing workflows, dashboards, and reporting interfaces. Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for application deployment. Create and maintain CloudFormation/IaC templates. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Provide technical leadership and contribute to solution architecture and design. Use Kiro and/or VS Code as part of an AI-assisted development workflow. Technical Environment Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript AI/LLM: Amazon Bedrock, LLM Agents, Tool/Function Calling, Knowledge Bases AWS: ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, Cognito, Aurora/RDS, S3 Infrastructure: CloudFormation / IaC DevOps: GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline / CI/CD Architecture: Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, API Architecture Platform: Power Platform Nice to Have Experience integrating Amazon Bedrock / Claude APIs Experience with Kiro and AI-assisted development Spanish language proficiency

Candidates must be available to work 100% onsite in Calgary and have experience with CloudFormation or other IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines.
