About the role Join the Business Solutions Engineering team, in the Bilingual Senior Specialist, Software Engineering (Functional - D365 ERP Finance & Operations) position, where the next generations of software applications are being developed to enable CMHC to achieve its mission. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative software solutions. You will act as a point of contact for all stakeholders in order to ensure business requirements are understood and met, all while supporting continuous improvement through CMHC’s ERP system.What you'll do: Be CMHC’s leading expert on the MS D365 ERP Finance & Operations platform for functional, process, configuration and testing aspect. Demonstrated experience as a Subject Matter Expert, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Collaborate with the client community to determine their system needs, document the current and proposed business processes, and advise clients of the proposed solutions and their impacts. Author technical specification documents and diagrams for new and existing solutions. Design and implement MS D365 Finance & Operations solutions according to business requirements, ensuring high-quality code standards and the delivery of efficient, scalable solutions. Configure integrations with other CMHC systems, such as Microsoft D365 CRM and other Azure components such as Function Apps, Logic Apps, APIs. Participate in the testing and defect resolution process and deployment activities. Stay updated on new Dynamics 365 features, best practices, and industry trends to continually improve system capabilities. What you should have: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a software configuration and strong experience with MS D365 ERP Finance & Operations platform. A strong ability to establish and apply development best practices. A passion for technology and motivation that is driven by technical challenges and innovation. A desire to continuously grow your expertise through learning and professional development. Previous experience leading and mentoring junior developers and providing best practices on the solution and processes. Previous experience working in an Agile environment, with the ability to solve complex problems and engage in challenging projects. Proven interpersonal, leadership and business competencies, including teamwork, facilitation, communication in the both official languages (English & French), presentation, influencing and negotiation skills. Technologies: A deep knowledge working with Microsoft D365 ERP (Finance & Operations) functions, processes, interoperability, integration and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies. It would be great if you also had: A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Certification A good knowledge of agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git, SQL and Relational Database management systems. An experience with cloud Azure platform, Azure Functions and Logic Apps. An experience with test automation creation. Posting closing date: Note, the competition will remain active until filled. Requirements
