To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at https://www.peacecountryco-op.crs/sites/peacecountry/ [https://www.peacecountryco-op.crs/sites/peacecountry/] What you’ll do: * Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and respond to product inquiries * Order, receive, inspect, and store raw materials and supplies used in the preparation of baked products * Prepare, mix, and bake a variety of products including breads, rolls, buns, pastries, cookies, and specialty items according to established recipes * Operate commercial bakery equipment including mixers, proofers, ovens, and slicers safely and efficiently * Monitor product quality, freshness, and consistency throughout the baking process. * Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment, including daily sanitation of bakery areas * Rotate inventory and remove outdated or unsellable products to minimize waste Why it matters: Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Who you are and what you have: * Red Seal Journeyperson Baker Certification (or equivalent) considered an asset * Minimum 2–3 years of professional baking experience in a commercial or retail setting * Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and food safety regulations * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment * Available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required * Comfortable with physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs Our Team Members receive competitive salaries.
