Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of two full-time Cashiers (40 hours/week) at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following: • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach. • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels. • Perform cashier duties, including assisting customers, processing purchases, bagging groceries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process cash, debit, credit, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently. • Stock and face front-end merchandise with a focus on visually appealing presentation. • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. • Perform all other duties as assigned. The cashier will provide legendary service by processing transactions accurately using POS systems and assisting customers with purchases. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean checkout area and stocking front-end merchandise to ensure a visually appealing presentation.

Candidates must be honest, well-organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. The role requires the physical ability to lift 25-50lbs and familiarity with food safety procedures.
