Liquor Clerk

Responsibilities will include: * Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers * Being dependable for all scheduled shifts * Developing a good understanding and operating of the till * Assisting in packing customer purchases at the checkout counter * Stocking shelves as required and make necessary deliveries. * Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards * Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program. * Completing any other duties as assigned * This position requires an ample amount of static standing, lifting, bending, and twisting. We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications: * Organizational skills and great time management * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Liquor product knowledge is an asset. * Must obtain Proserve certificate within a month of hire date. * Ability to work independently in a team environment. * Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service. * Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted. The Liquor Clerk is responsible for day-to-day liquor store operations, including providing member service and operating the till. Additional duties include stocking shelves, packing purchases, and maintaining a clean and orderly location.

Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and obtain a Proserve certificate within one month of hire. Strong organizational skills and legal eligibility to work in Canada are required.
