Sales Agronomist Full Time Ebenezer Crop Input Centre What you’ll do: Reporting to the Ebenezer Agro Manager, this is a specialized professional role in Agronomy services and related processes. This role is mainly focused towards building a robust Agronomy services program, a long – term focused customer portfolio and driving sales. The incumbent is responsible for providing legendary customer service, enhancing customer contact program, growing sales, and running Agro operations efficiently at the Ebenezer location. Working collaboratively with the Agro Manager and Ebenezer team, you will be: * Meeting budgeted sales volumes and margins, driving profitability and excellence in Agro, building return on investment into suggestive capital expenses including procuring and maintenance of the tools. * Developing and implementing a sustainable agronomy services portfolio and related program by researching, planning, reporting, to boost revenue and the appeal of the Ebenezer Agro Centre to current and prospective clients. * Building strong customer relationships, resolving customer concerns timely and respectfully, and enhancing the existing customer contact program for the Ebenezer Agro department. * Coaching and supporting farmers, customers, and fellow employees by sharing their agriculture expertise on proper administration and execution of a profitable agronomy services program. * Contributing to marketing discussions by providing expert level of operational knowledge, commodity direction and organizational skills to assist in product and service procurement. * Ensuring all agronomy programs and services are compliant with OH&S requirements, asset protection policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and certifications. * Safety sensitive positions require pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Who you are: You are knowledgeable and experienced about Agriculture and Agro business, and you are passionate in selling while sharing your Agro expertise with diverse stakeholders like farmers, retailers, and internal customers. You also have: * A grade 12 education. Preference given to those possessing an Agriculture Degree/Diploma or Certificate from a recognized institution in Agriculture or Agriculture business. * Certified Crop Advisor Designation or Professional Agrologist Designation or willing to obtain * 3+ years of previous proven ability and experience in crop input and equipment sales. * Ability to collaborate and build strong professional relationships with diverse internal and external customers. * Responsible attitude with proactive problem-solving skills while respecting commitments and timelines provided. * Must possess and maintain class 5 driver’s license and have the availability to be on call with ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
