As the Certification Auditor you will assist in the completion of CEO/CFO Certification requirements and ensure required sign-off is received from senior management. You will analyze multiple business processes, workflows, and key controls to identify deficiencies, and assist in the creation of Certification reporting. HOW YOU WILL CREATE IMPACT: * Assisting in the development and maintenance of test plans, performing walkthroughs of business processes to identify key internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR’s), and assessing changes to Operational and IT General Controls (ITGC’s). * Assisting in the coordination and performance of quarterly Certification testing, preparing supporting documentation, and identifying control design and operating deficiencies. * Ensuring ICFR Polling responses are collected within required timelines, documenting deficiencies and remediations plans, and leading the sub-certification process to obtain sign-off on reporting and disclosure controls. * Building collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure required testing, Certification, and sub-Certification processes are efficiently completed within tightly defined timelines. * Contributing to the design of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT), conducting data analysis to support testing, and assessing impacts of continuous changes in the control environment and impacts on ICFR’s. TO JOIN OUR TEAM: * You have three years of experience in the insurance industry, accounting and/or audit. * You have a post-secondary degree in Commerce or Business Administration. * You have knowledge of insurance related risks, ICFR’s, data analytics, financial accounting, and risk and control methodologies. * You have completed or are working towards a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation(s). * Having or actively working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation would be an asset. Salary information Expected salary range $60,574 to $100,956 The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education. Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.

Requirements
