Role: Responsible for courteous and efficient package pick-up and delivery on an assigned route, ensuring compliance with service standards and customer satisfaction. Key Duties: Safely operating vehicles, inspecting and selecting packages, planning routes for efficiency, maintaining security of property, and providing excellent customer service. Customer Engagement: Address customer questions, promote additional business, and inform sales of leads and market changes. Operational Responsibilities: Adhere to operating procedures, accurately use computerized tracking systems, and ensure proper labeling and paperwork for shipments. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with a good record, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and proficiency in safety and equipment operation. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential. Preferred Experience: At least one year of customer service experience; knowledge of customs regulations and operational procedures is an asset. Additional Requirements: Ability to achieve driver assessment standards, work in a pressure environment, and, for bilingual roles, fluency in English and French. Candidates must meet specific driving record and performance criteria if applicable.
