Role Overview: Responsible for loading, unloading, digitizing, and sorting freight within the facility, ensuring efficient handling and processing of shipments. Key Responsibilities: Operate equipment to load/unload freight, scan and organize cargo, and perform related tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED preferred; knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and customs regulations is a plus. Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to complete all required training, and operate in a Windows PC environment. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with proper equipment. Bilingualism (French and English) required for candidates in Quebec. Valid driver’s license with minimal infractions needed if driving is a component. Additional Requirements: Successful completion of training, maintaining certifications, and working flexible hours as needed. The role involves physical activity, adherence to safety protocols, and potential evaluations of driving skills for relevant positions.
