Job Description: Performs preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Diagnoses and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment to ensure optimal plant performance and minimize downtime. Maintains a safe work environment and supports continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Responsibility/Duty % of Time Spent Essential Job Functions Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled maintenance on production equipment, overhead cranes, processing lines, material handling equipment, and facility systems. 30 X Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system failures to minimize downtown. 30 X Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals to identify root causes and implement repairs. 15 X Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage documentation within maintenance software systems. 5 X Inspect equipment and monitor fluid levels, wear components, and operating conditions to identify potential failures before breakdowns occur. 5 Assist with installation, commissioning, modification, and continuous improvement projects related to plant equipment and processes. 5 Maintain spare parts inventory and communicate parts requirements to ensure availability of critical components. 5 Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company safety policies and applicable regulations. 5 Total 100% Total* The overall total should add up to 100%. Qualifications and Skills: Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Experience working with motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, and industrial controls. Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Work authorization: Canada (Required) Experience & Education: High school or equivalent. Red Seal Industrial Electrician and/or Red Seal Industrial Mechanic required. Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Metals processing experiences preferred. Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems required.

Requirements
