We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience reviewing legal, loan, and financing documentation to support a secured collateral filings project. This role will focus on identifying, validating, and tracking collateral filings across Canada and the United States, including PPSA and UCC filings. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a law firm, legal department, secured lending environment, commercial lending operation, or collateral documentation function, along with strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency. Key Responsibilities Review loan, financing, and legal documentation to identify secured collateral filings. Analyze and validate PPSA (Personal Property Security Act) and/or UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) filings. Extract critical filing information and maintain accurate tracking records in Excel. Research collateral registration details and verify documentation accuracy. Maintain organized logs, reports, and supporting documentation. Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify filing information when required. Ensure high levels of accuracy, completeness, and compliance throughout the review process. Required Qualifications Experience working with PPSA filings (Canada) and/or UCC filings (United States). Experience reviewing loan agreements, financing documents, security agreements, collateral documentation, or legal contracts. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including managing large datasets and tracking records. Previous experience within a law firm, legal department, paralegal function, commercial lending operation, secured lending team, or collateral administration environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing deadlines and priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Paralegal diploma, legal studies background, or related legal education. Experience supporting secured lending, commercial lending, collateral management, lien registration, or documentation review processes. Exposure to both Canadian and U.S. collateral filing requirements. Familiarity with lending operations, loan servicing, or collateral administration environments.
