Job summary
The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $60,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. The Foodbuy Member Engagement Specialist is responsible for proactively driving member value while supporting the account management and sales teams. This individual is a self-starter, possesses great communication skills and drives customer centric solutions. This individual will support the onboarding of new clients with welcome calls, confirm client information, promote preferred Foodbuy programs and identify lead-generating opportunities. Now, If You Were To Come On Board As One Of Our Member Engagement Specialist, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us Reviews and validates member data, contractual documentation, and system updates to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established processes and service standards. Work cross-functionally with the Foodbuy support teams to ensure thorough and smooth implementation and integration of all new Foodbuy programs. Confirm and maintain member information including contact phone numbers, emails addresses, mailing addresses, distributor information, and HST numbers. Confirm contract exclusions. Support Electronic fund transfer (EFT) set up. Log client engagement and leads in CRM. Respond to customer inquiries regarding any procurement or rebate related challenges. Influence program participation with our members. Promote preferred programs, products, promotions to our members. Complete Member follow-up calls as required. Provide Member portal support. Work in conjunction with Marketing and Communications to execute initiatives and web strategies. Remain current on program changes that could lead to new value creation opportunities. Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role. 1+ years’ customer service experience 1+ years’ experience in Hospitality or Food service industry. Post-secondary education, degree or diploma, in a business-related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Teams. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail when reviewing member information, documentation, and system data. Identify discrepancies proactively and takes ownership of resolving issues before they impact members, suppliers, or internal stakeholders. Demonstrated customer service and relationship building skills. Analytical and logical thinking ability as well as proven time management skills.
