Position Summary Temporary Part-Time Support Staff, new contract position (October 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026) The Part-Time Liaison Officer, SheBuilds coordinates all aspects of the SheBuilds grant project for the School of Trades and Apprenticeship, including start-up, marketing, candidate support and selection, as well as training and work placement. This role involves preparing, facilitating, and evaluating training and work placement activities, and providing ongoing on-site monitoring and evaluation. The incumbent completes documentation for the sponsoring agency and grant partners (i.e., MLITSD, WCSWR, YWCA, IHOH, SASC), collects and reports project data for college purposes, and supports project delivery. The incumbent also provides liaison, recruitment, and support services to participants and employers within the Trades and Apprenticeship area. Successful candidates will be required to work onsite three to four weekdays per week, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm at the Cambridge Skilled Trades campus, located at 25 Reuter Drive in Cambridge. Flexibility in scheduling due to project demands, including evenings and weekends is required. Travel is required weekly to employer sites, community agencies, etc. Responsibilities Employer and community partnerships Develop and maintain relationships with employers, community organizations, industry associations, and project stakeholders to support participant recruitment, work placements, and employment outcomes Recruit, secure, and coordinate work placement opportunities that align with program objectives and participant career goals Conduct employer outreach, networking, marketing, and business development activities to identify, cultivate, and maintain placement and employment opportunities Build employer and community partnerships through research, presentations, site visits, ongoing communication, and participation in community and industry events Serve as the primary liaison between participants, employers, and community partners to facilitate successful placements, monitor placement experiences, and support positive employment outcomes Address and resolve placement-related concerns through consultation with participants, employers, and project partners Maintain accurate records of employer engagement activities, placements, participant progress, and stakeholder feedback Program coordination and participant support Coordinate program logistics, schedules, resources, and activities to support successful training delivery and work placement implementation Collaborate with project partners, college departments, faculty, and community agencies to ensure effective program delivery and participant support Deliver presentations and information sessions and respond to inquiries from prospective participants, community partners, employers, and other stakeholders Assess participant needs, identify barriers to success, facilitate referrals to appropriate supports, and monitor participant attendance, engagement, progress, and program outcomes Contribute to the ongoing evaluation, enhancement, and successful delivery of program activities while maintaining accurate participant records and documentation Project administration, reporting and compliance Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records to support funder, partner, and institutional reporting requirements Collect, track, analyze, and report on participant, program, and financial data to measure outcomes, support decision-making, and inform project evaluation Ensure project activities comply with funding agreements, reporting obligations, and College policies and procedures Participate in meetings with funding agencies, project partners, and stakeholders and assist in preparing reports, presentations, and materials related to project performance, outcomes, and future funding opportunities Qualifications A three-year degree or diploma in Business Administration, Advertising, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field of study is required Minimum three years of practical experience in marketing or selling programs or training, including demonstrated public speaking promoting programs; experience in group facilitation is required Knowledge and/or work experience in the trades and apprenticeship area is an asset Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving, organizational, and evaluation skills Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with a high level of professionalism Access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel to employer sites, community agencies, etc., is required
