About the Role: We are seeking a driven and experienced Store Manager to lead overall store performance, with a strong focus on profitability, operational excellence, and outstanding customer service. This role oversees key store functions, including merchandising, staffing, inventory, and compliance, while building a high-performing and inclusive team. The Store Manager will execute business strategies, develop and coach team members, maintain strong operational and financial results, and create a positive experience for both customers and the local community. Schedule & Compensation: This position requires open availability, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts, with flexibility to support business needs. Starting Salary: $65k/ annually, plus applicable performance incentives. Key Responsibilities: Lead Store Operations – Provide leadership across customer experience, sales, merchandising, inventory, and daily store execution. Lead & Develop the Team – Coach, mentor, and develop the Assistant Store Manager and store team through effective training, feedback, and performance management. Recruit & Staff Effectively – Oversee recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and staffing to ensure the store is properly supported. Drive Sales & Profitability – Monitor key performance metrics, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to improve sales and overall store performance. Maintain Operational Excellence – Ensure the store is clean, organized, safe, and customer-ready while maintaining established operational standards. Manage Financial Performance – Oversee payroll, labor costs, budgets, and operating expenses to support financial objectives. Build a High-Performing Culture – Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaged team environment through strong communication, recognition, and accountability. Ensure Compliance & Safety – Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable operational standards. Protect People & Assets – Implement loss prevention practices and appropriately manage incidents, safety concerns, and operational risks. Drive Business Initiatives – Partner with leadership to execute business initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives. What You Bring: 5+ years of progressive retail management experience, including at least 3 years in a Store Manager or General Manager role. Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience in budgeting, labor management, expense control, and performance analysis. Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong KPI and business analysis skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive performance. Technology proficient, with experience using POS systems, reporting tools, and other retail technology. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage customers, teams, and operational challenges. Experience supporting new store openings or business growth initiatives is considered an asset. Experience managing high-volume retail operations is preferred.
