Role Description The Office and Communications Administrator (Bilingual) is a full-time, on-site role located in Mississauga, ON. This role coordinates day-to-day office operations, including managing correspondence, maintaining records, organizing meetings, and supporting basic accounting and administrative processes. The administrator serves as a key point of contact for clients and partners, providing bilingual customer service in English and French by phone, email, and in person. The role also supports communications activities, such as preparing announcements, drafting newsletters, updating online content, and assisting with promotional materials for programs and events. The administrator collaborates with team members to streamline internal workflows, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain an organized, welcoming office environment. Qualifications Strong communication skills in both English and French, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to adapt messages for diverse audiences. Office administration and administrative assistance skills, including scheduling, filing, document preparation, and coordination of meetings and events. Customer service experience, with a focus on client-centered support, responsiveness, and professionalism in a community-oriented setting. Basic accounting and office administration skills, such as handling invoices, expense tracking, data entry, and supporting budget-related tasks. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent), email platforms, and basic digital communication tools. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple priorities. Previous experience in a nonprofit, community organization, or economic development environment is an asset. Relevant post-secondary education or training in administration, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
