Dispatch field technicians to service calls. Maintain shop supplies and monitor inventory levels; process returns, exchanges, and warranty claims as required. Open, update, and close work orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed. Schedule and track equipment service and maintenance, balancing technician availability with customer and fleet needs. Prepare and provide quotes and estimates for repairs and preventative maintenance. Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding service timelines, equipment status, and parts availability. Match packing slips to receivers and invoices to support efficient accounts payable processing. Work closely with the Service and Shop teams to prioritize work orders and minimize equipment downtime. Maintain organized records and reports on service schedules, equipment history, and parts usage. Support compliance with company policies, warranty processes, and safety standards. What You’ll Bring to the Team Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or the construction equipment industry; rental industry experience is an asset. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field is an advantage. Knowledge of construction or heavy equipment parts, service procedures, and maintenance practices is an asset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, technicians, and vendors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with service or inventory management systems (Systematics or similar) is an asset. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in order tracking, scheduling, and documentation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and urgent service needs. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company standards.
