We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic Hamilton team and contribute to our continued growth. Duties And Responsibilities Team, Equipment, and Facilities Management Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards. Act as a leader in health and safety, implement programs and lead the maintenance team to adopt safer behaviours. Mentor team members to develop their maintenance expertise. Ensure the implementation and continued use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Ensure the availability of parts and materials required for maintenance activities. Coordinate the interventions of external suppliers and contractors. Participate in the analysis of failures and the implementation of corrective actions. Manage the forklift fleet, building, and grounds. Inventory and supply management Control stocks of chemicals and maintenance parts. Analyze supply needs and ensure availability. Participate in the optimization of inventory processes and the supply chain. Produce inventory monitoring and analysis reports. Ensure compliance with safety procedures during storage and handling. Procurement Identify and source suppliers. Negotiate the best pricing, terms, and conditions. Execute purchasing activities within delegated authority limits. Create and track purchase orders. Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and ensure proper verification of received goods. Qualifications Education and experience Certificate or diploma in industrial maintenance, facilities management or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Experience in supervising staff. Knowledge of overhead cranes and industrial equipment. Asset: Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Key Competencies Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
