Job Description North Star Windows & Doors (St. Thomas, Ontario) is hiring a motivated team player with a strong safety focus and willingness to learn to join our Production Team. As part of the team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors to meet quality standards and specifications Review work orders and prepare materials for production Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and automated machinery Inspect finished products and report defects or quality concerns Prepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and loading Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives Contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, and efficiency Support production goals and team performance targets Follow leadership direction and verify quality through measurement Adhere strictly to safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a team Qualifications Previous experience in general labour, construction, or manufacturing is preferred Willing to learn, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Able to stand for a full shift Comfortable working in a physically active, safety sensitive production environment; able to lift and maneuver products (30–50 lbs, medium to heavy lifting) Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn Manual dexterity and comfort handling materials Experience using hand tools and power tools Ability to read a tape measure accurately Safety‑conscious and detail‑oriented 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in Canada Must be available for two‑week rotating shifts Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays when required Additional Information Cornerstone Building Brands Canada is committed to an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace.
