At Coulson Aviation, we operate, modify, and maintain a diverse fleet of specialized aircraft supporting aerial firefighting operations worldwide. Our fleet includes C-130 Hercules, Boeing 737 FIRELINERS™, Cessna Citation 550 and 560 aircraft, CH-47D Chinooks, and Sikorsky S-61 and S-76 helicopters. We operate across Canada, the United States, Australia, and Chile. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our team onsite in Port Alberni, BC. In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions while supporting broader talent-acquisition initiatives across the business. You will be a trusted partner to hiring managers, an advocate for the candidate experience, and an important contributor to Coulson’s continued global growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance. * Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define position requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies. * Prepare and publish job postings and manage candidate pipelines across LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment platforms. * Proactively source, screen, interview, and assess qualified candidates. * Coordinate interviews and maintain clear and timely communication with candidates and hiring teams. * Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process. * Provide hiring managers with market insights, candidate feedback, and recruitment data to support informed hiring decisions. * Support offer development, candidate negotiations and the transition to onboarding. * Maintain complete and accurate hiring information within the applicant tracking system. * Monitor recruitment activity and identify opportunities to improve hiring processes, timelines, and outcomes. * Collaborate with Marketing and other internal partners on employer-branding and recruitment-marketing initiatives. * Support broader talent-acquisition projects and hiring initiatives across the organization. WHAT YOU BRING: * High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred. * 7+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience. * 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment and ATS experience. * Strong interview, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. * Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom, and ATS/HRIS tools. * Experience recruiting in the United States and/or Australia is an asset. * Experience with ADP is also an asset. * Priority will be given to candidates with aviation experience. Requirements
Requires at least 7 years of recruiting experience with 5 years of full-cycle and ATS proficiency. A high school diploma is mandatory, while post-secondary education and aviation industry experience are preferred.
