Position Title: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Type: Permanent, Part-time Compensation: $35.95 – $36.35/hour plus $1/hour wage adjustment as per collective agreement # of Vacancies: 1 existing vacancy About the Role: As a member of the nursing team, and in consultation with the Registered Nurse, you are involved in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. You will use your clinical skills to ensure that every resident receives the care they need and deserve delivered with quality, compassion, and consistency. Qualifications: Registered Practical Nurse education Provides evidence of Pharmacology and Aseptic Technique preparation Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse Current Standard First Aid with CPR Level HCP or BLS Certification Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with: Health & Safety Procedures Resident Bill of Rights Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 Point Click Care Demonstrates a commitment to the delivery of safe, efficient care to the personal needs of residents. Requirements
